I've been looking at my budget for my holiday, and have decided I can't take the added expense of a trip to KK to see Matt. My daily spend will be about 2000Bt.

I don't see the contradiction. Actually, the life I live, going to KK for a few days break from Pattaya would save me money.

christian, the extra expense would be the cost of getting to KK (however I travelled) plus the hotel. Not a huge amount of money, but unnecessary given the situation I'm in.
