What do you look forward to?

So what do you look forward to on your holliers in Thailand. Obviously, there's sex with the boys (no, honest, it happens, so I'm told). Apart from that what do you look forward to? For me it's the view from the Beer Garden, watching the para gliders. Deciding I don't want to go for dinner, stay in the bar, and just buy street food as it comes around.

Hitchhiking's more of a challenge on the road less travelled.

Another vote here for the beers on Dongtan beach while flirting with the vendors... Also, the opportunity to indulge in some high quality Fine Dining at prices rather more affordable than those at home.
"The fruits of peace and tranquility... are the greatest goods... while those of its opposite, strife, are unbearable evils. Hence we ought to wish for peace, to seek it if we do not already have it, to conserve it once it is attained, and to repel with all our strength the strife which is opposed to it. To this end individual[s]... and in even greater degree groups and communities are obliged to help one another... from the bond or law of human society." [Marsilio dei Mainardini (c.1275-1342), Defensor Pacis]

When I'm away for any length of time, I miss the carefree attitude and the buzz of excitement that is everywhere in this country - from the villages to the cities. It is cool to just sit outside at night, drink with friends, and solve the problems of the world. When in the 'big city', I can't get enough of just sitting around and watching the boys stroll by - gay or straight - it doesn't matter - Thai guys are hot!

The only Thai food I know by name (if not spelling) is Kow Man Gai and Kow Pad Moo.
