However, Bernard Herrman who conducted the band on The Good Old Days was a different guy. His career was in TV programmes.

I was actually in Jomtien at one of these bars a couple of weeks ago, and hooked up with a Cambodian guy. I didn’t go to the hotel with him, because I got the feeling he was straight, and I am not sure he could perform in the loom.

Joe depending how many people turn up ( and even if it's only a few) you are aware that with a little negotiation ( or even without that) that buying a bottle of "something" can usually work out cheaper in the end than buying several bottles of beers / vodka and cokes for guests etc - just in case you're not aware of that.

I have been told that a new bar called M to M has opened in the jomtiem complex. Is it the same as most of the bars in the complex ie full of guys from Cambodia ?

I went last night. Caberet bar with some of the dancers from the cafe royal. It has two shows at 11pm and 24:30.
