I've posted the link from Gaythailand, I hope they don't mind but if they do I'll remove it. It shows a few photographs of Pattayaland Soi 1. That's the soi where many go go bars are located. It strikes me as very very strange that the authorities would start major building work right at the beginning of high season. It's difficult not to draw nefarious conclusions from this because other bars will benefit from this.

It’s Pattayaland soi 1, not 3.
Pattayaland Soi 3 is the Boyztown soi, where you’ll find Boyzboyzboyz, Ambiance, Copa,
Toy Boys.
Pattayaland Soi 1 has Xboys. Dream Boys, Kawaii Boys and its a construction site but all
bars are open for business.
I thought Kawaii had closed. So has Narcissus.
There aren’t that many bars left on that street to really matter much!
Kawaii was reported as being about to close.
Subsequently it did for a short period.
But it did re-open, and apparently has limped along since.
In Pattayaland Soi 1, with 360 now closed again, there are three bars: Dreamboys, X Boys and Kawaii.
..........and that's the way it is.
