I speak English only, with a cultured Dublin accent. I don't speak Irish at all, apart from a few phrases, such as pog mo shon

You mentioned that you once passed through Bangkok, and your friend has no idea about Bangkok as well (?), and how about the parents? I want to say you should make a plan, or ask for advice, on how to spend some days in Bangkok with activities that are interesting for all of you.
