Europe is cold everywhere from October to April. South of Spain can be as cold as +5C night time, on a good day 17C day time, but as soon as sun goes down it's cold.
Even Marrakesh and Agadir are too cold during winter, if Morocco had warmer winters I would forget Thailand.
The only place near Europe to spend winter is Canary Islands, but there is absolutely nothing to do there.
