As Moderator-in-Waiting I can't be seen to be handing out drinks Joe - such a prestigious role brings with it an obligation to conduct oneself with a degree of decorum.

Precisely why Arsenal is inherently unsuitable

Precisly! Moderator has to be someone who doesn't have close ties to other members, no past, no biases.

Like ЧК, predecessor to KGB, Chekist had to be someone withclean hands, a cool head, and a warm heart."

I can think of only one candidate for such awsome responsibility - Whitemouse.

Scottish and Whitemouse. Delusional to the end. The new moderator must be able to step above the fray and not 'get involved'. My record on this is exemplary. Scottish ruled himself out and is now putting himself back in. Indecisiveness is not a trait for a strong but fair mod. Perhaps I might make one of you my deputy as soon as my appointment is confirmed.

I think we should all vote for me to be moderator, and let shit really hit the fan!

It'd be kinda like how the US elected Trump, but in a SGT setting. Let's see how crazy shit can get.

    (just kidding, obviously)

I've been posting on the Gay Thailand message boards since they started, is that more than 30 years?
Did the WWW even exist 30 years ago, let alone gay Thailand message boards?

I don't know - I'm far too young to know what happened 30 years ago (or is that Alzheimer's?)
Hitchhiking's more of a challenge on the road less travelled.
