I've met a few in my time that hang around but for no apparent reason.
I'm not talking about fag hags cos I know what they want.
Sometimes an explanation filters through such as "he works for an NGO, he's undercover, he's wanted by police"
There was a guy in Jomtien 10 years ago who claimed to be a Psychiatrist.
He got plenty to do with Thais and suicidal farangs using his willing shoulders to cry on. He was finally picked by the BIB and sent back to the psychiatric wing of a British prison.
There's a young guy, slim and handsome who used to sit in Mama Lek's drinking quite heavily alone An older farang used often join him and walk away with him. The strange thing is that almost every time I saw him he had a different visible injury on his body.
And then there's me of course.
