    An impossible dream?

Hi guys - still following your adventures although I don;t expect to be back in LoS for a while. But while I sit here in Dublin, I have a question. And I'm serious, but expect a few bits of banter (ok, SG and Nirish).

So, on my first visit to Pattaya (mayve 15 years ago) I fell in love with a bar boy. I mean seriously ''Only the second ti. me in my life My best ever holiday was spent with him and his family up in Sisaket. I know we went to Preah Whihar for a day trip so that might provide a clue.
I' don't know the name of the village he lived in - I don't know if he lives there now - but I would love to see him once again

As a bucket list item, how would you go about it?

Hitchhiking's more of a challenge on the road less travelled.

I don't want to sound negative and discouraging, but...

Have you considered the possibility that his life has moved on.
Maybe he is married with kids.
He may want to leave that time in his life well behind.

Or maybe he would be delighted.

But 15 years is a long time.
..........and that's the way it is.

Do you know his full name? If so, in Thai or English? If in English, first get someone to try and translate it into Thai for you. If wanted, even post the name here and I can do my best to give you multiple variations of what it might be in Thai characters.

From there, search for him on Facebook and see if you can find him.

    Welcome back, Joe!

I agree with neddy3. There is a possibility he may not want to be found.

But I hope for your sake you find him and he is happy to see you again.

Joe, you may want to pose such as question on Gaybutton where one of the posters did rejoin an old bf after many years. He did have an address, I believe, and he did hire an investigator.
