    I've made 5 posts today - that's a very strange definition of "silent".

    Thanks for calling me a "boy" tho !

    Re Berlin;
    I've checked on line.
    There's also a bar called Tobasco Bar.
    I met one of the owners a few years ago in Jomtien.
    Can you recommend a hotel nearby that allows guests short-time?

    There's the gay Axel hotel - large hotel with sauna/jacuzzi suite - expensive though but only 5/10 minute walk

    There's the Novum Aldea about 10/15 min level stroll, and there's the Mercure Zentrum which is right in the middle. The Mercure should be better appointed than the Aldea (which was kinda Premier Inn standard) - but then again the Aldea has been refurbed and an extension built since I last stayed

    I have taken back to the Axel and the Aldea - haven't used the Mercure yet. Of course, like Thailand I always book a double room so there can be little argument.

    The Tabasco bar is a long narrow bar that always has lots of lads around playing pool and generally making themselves available. Pinocchio bar is next door - small and again quite popular, the Eldorado 3 mins away gets a reputation in guides but I've never actually seen any activity. Blond bar across the street has its movements but the Blue Boy is/was the daddy of the lot. As I say, I've heard it's renamed and under new management whilst the original has moved somewhere nearby.

    Going rate is about 50-80 Euro - but it's all very commercial and you won't get any of the playfulness you get from the Thai boys.

    Please note these are what I would call rent bars and they nowhere near represent the extent if the gay scene - add another 10-15 bars to those with many leather or rubber oriented (think there's even 1 or 2 naked bars)

    Germany is and has been the only place in Europe worth going for old fashioned bar-based commercial fun for the last 20 yrs IMHO

    Good luck

    Thanks for all the info.
    Berlin looks like a good place to take in on a trip to or from Thailand.

    There are no nutrients in urine. The body excretes compounds that it has no use for any more. Reports of people being trapped after an earthquake / in a mine / on a ship without access to fresh water drinking their urine to survive are wrong as well. The human body cannot recover the water in urine; drinking urine is like drinking sea water, you will die from dehydration.

    Near to the Tobasco? I hear the Worcestershire is pretty good.
