And this is my room during my studies in England. First picture from bed towards door, behind the corner on the right is the bathroom (about 1x3 m). Second picture from door to bed and window, bathroom on the left behindcorner. A bit messy, packing for moving out. For this room, about 3x4 m, I paid about 380 GBP per month. From any point of the room, I could reach a wall by stretching out an arm. And elsewhere was similarly expensive.

The link you posted, that house would be let as two double bedrooms for 500 GPB (per room, not per person!) to students.
