Congratulations on completely missing the point - the "ridiculous discussion" I started was actually nothing to do with having any concern over the "effect of passive smoking on animals" but questioning why in fact there appears to be none!

That still does not explain the need for the discussion. Again who cares whether or not it has any effect, it is totally inconsequential. That IS my point, which you seem to have missed...

I haven't been on this forum for a while but it depressing when a person starts a thread making in my opinion a very legitimate point and it side tracked by a lot of rubbish about dogs and cats. A pity.

Actually what's "depressing" and "a pity" is when pea-brained cretins come along who can't see that the "rubbish" about "dogs and cats" is entirely on-topic.
