Too true. A family member, while transporting an uncle (who was without papers, was terminally ill and had just arrived from Shan) to ......., was stopped by police near Mae Sariang. He was charged with aiding an alien, for which he got 5 years, and the uncle was returned to Mae Hong Son for deportation.

There are many foreigners in the 'escort' business in Bangkok, Pattaya, Chiang Mai etc who are of legal age, who have valid passports to prove it but whose VISAS are expired. If one of them is found with you in your room or, say, in your car or on your motor bike, it would seem to me that the same consequences could result as those described by "billhouston" above. A hotel situation would be different in that the onus to grant admission or not shifts to reception.
Would there not be dire consequences also for bars who have foreigners on the premises without work visas? I have never heard of such an outcome in either case. Just thinking.

if I were law enforcement first thing I would do now was track the IP number of the guy who started this post and start an investigation and monitor him when he goes to Thailand.

I mean what legal reason can there be to desire a guy without an ID? I can't believe it is an estbalished fetish to fuck legal age guys who have no ID card. That would be the strangest fetish ever. So the intend must be illegal, I am sure.
