Underwear Stalls still in Silom ??

Guys - quick question - my BF has just put in an order for copious amounts of (fake) underwear to be brought back for him from Bkk when I'm there but I seem to remember a few posts about the stalls being removed from Silom etc, so can I just check before I accept the order ( i.e do what I'm told) are the usual fake underwear stall guys all still up and around Soi 4 / DJ etc or have they been moved on elsewhere and if so where perhaps ( as I've told him I'm damned if I'm going searching for them)

I believe the Patpong night market still runs & includes that kind of product, although it must be said I avoid that street like the plague.

However, ChristianPFC will step up to the mark & offer good advice on where to buy.

Thanks to all, I understand from a PM I received also that the main stalls u around DJ etc are still there just in case anyone else needs that info also - although this being Thailand that could of course change by the time I've finished typing this message !

These thingies are sold in about ANY location where tourists come en I assume prices along Silom are among the highest. Fakey brandies sell for from 50/60 bt each. Think of places like MBK (higher floors), which has AC, KhaoSarn road, that weekend market, most other markets, along Sukhumvit. Thats for the usual boxers with a fake-brand name on-Naughty/sexy/indecent thingies are a bit harder to get. Specify what you/him want.
The way to avoid the onthestreet penalty is to use areas that are private but still open to that street-so they stand on porticos of shops, even on railings of front-windows, etc.

From what I see the stalls are allowed on Silom itself only on certain days and not every day as before.
Patpong is a private street and can regulate itself I presume.

Not my observations, and I have done a lot of research. I had a boy who was wearing underwear that could be had in Silom for 100 Baht, but he bought it in Pratunam for 130. The same would go in Pattaya (the shop corner Boyztown to Second Road) for 200. (I really should get writing that "ChristianPFC's comprehensive guide to buying underwear - prices, styles, locations - in Bangkok".)
