Thumbs up South Korea: Korean military hunting down gay soldiers.

A military court sentenced an army captain to six months of imprisonment suspended for one year Wednesday for sleeping with another male soldier.

The ruling drew quick condemnations from his lawyer and human rights groups.

The captain, whose name was undisclosed, collapsed in the courtroom after the verdict was read. Under the ruling, the captain is not obliged to spend time in jail physically as long as he shows good conduct during the next year. The man will be dishonorably discharged if he does not appeal the ruling.

Homosexual activity is illegal in the Korean military and can be punished with up to two years in prison if a soldier is caught having gay sex.

President Moon Jae-in does not seem tolerant. During a nationally televised presidential debate last month, he said, "I don't like homosexuality."

On the contrary, a slim majority of South Koreans are not at all religious, and religion itself has entered its decline, as happens in almost every industrialised country http://www.aljazeera.com/indepth/fea...144746222.html

the linked article talks about young Koreans. The older generation and people in positions of power are much more conservative and religious.

But the older generations will die out. There's hope.

Yes, and some of these Korean creeps are going around Cambodia converting and scamming the villagers.
I happened to be visiting my friend's home when they arrived in the village in a fleet of mini-busses. They have split my friend's family by paying the father and older sister to convert to their american -style evengelical crap and become their village reps.
The rest of the family remains Buddhist but they entertain them out of politeness.
These creeps asked for and got one of the family dogs to eat.
They believe in GOD but when they're hungry they believe in DOG.
