Advance Notice: Watch out for Airfare Reductions in February

I admit I'm making a guess but the Thailand International Travel Fair will run from 15 - 19 February at the Queen Sirikit Convention Centre. Over the past 2 years at least, several airlines have used this short window to cut fares out of Bangkok to Europe and the USA. I know that Emirates and Qatar have already had sales in recent weeks but I expect the next one will have the deepest discounts. This happened two years ago when I purchased a biz class ticket to Europe on Qatar in a December sale and then found the same ticket available during the Travel Fair sale at Bt. 20,000 less. Thankfully, the cancellation fee on the original ticket was only Bt. 3,000 and I got the new cheaper ticket for the same flights.
