I think catawampuscat used poetic license. I stayed in KK several times, but only on one stay did I try to meet cdnmatt (failed, with cdnmatt's permission I would post our communication). That confirmed what others have told me before and after: despite inviting people to visit him in KK, cdnmatt is unavailable (wrong phone number, doesn't reply to calls or messages, whatever).

And I surely have better things to do in KK than trying to track down cndmatt:
