Today I visited the remodeled massage place at Malaysia hotel. It is much changed from the old place which was a bit seedy but the prices have also changed. Massages there were one of the bargains of Bangkok with a 2 hour Thai massage costing only 300 baht. That same massage is now 500 baht. While the place is nicer than it was I will not be visiting there again. Many other places can be had for considerably less.
I had a really good massage there once. Quality is worth paying for. And the 24 hour cafe comes in handy too.

I'm so old, I remember it when it was an Issan music place with live bands and packed every night.
Lots of massage places now very near on Sribumphen. But I really doubt you will get a 2-hour massage for much less than Bt. 500 there.
for THAI msg that should easily be possible. The landlady of the place I stayed long time before had one coming over once/week (No, not a MB), for 100 bt. For just Thai 150 is easy to see also in many dept.stores/shopping centres etc.
For 2 hour massage? Amazing! I have looked at many massage places in the Malaysia hotel area and cannot find any for less than about Bt. 450 for 2 hours. Only foot massage comes in at under Bt. 200. I'll have another check today or tomorrow.Originally Posted by pong
I was wrong! On Sribumphen I checked that 2 have Thai massage at Bt. 400 for 2 hours, I at Bt. 450 and another - a Thai oil massage (never experienced that) for Bt. 700.
