October 27th is end of Buddhist Lent, and various festivals take place in the days and weeks before:

Vegetarian festival in Phuket, Wax Castle Procession in Sakon Nakon, Rap Bua in Samut Prakarn, Naga Fireball festival in Nong Khai, Tak Bat Tevo in Uthai Thani.
