Those Brazilians sound very inviting, but rather than stay in Europe I came to Bangkok. But I'll keep that in mind for a future trip. Maybe next April.

I've always found Escape to be somewhere to go for one night and leave empty handed with you wallet more or less intact. It's been horrendously expensive for rumpy pumpy since the mid 1990's, although I've no experience of the Champagne prices.
Club Temple (formerly Pinocchio) is the place to go for good beer and 50-80 Euro takeways with non-porn star boys. Owned by a very approchable American the last time I visited - maybe 3 yrs ago?

Yeah, I did contemplate a visit to Temple but it was too far away and I'd read lots of negative comments on the net about the hustlers there.
But the main reason I stuck with Escape was because I was hoping to grab one of the hot guys - the porn star was top on my list. But I didn't actually see much of them ; they were there for a couple of nights, sitting with the regulars, but then I never saw them again. I think the German couple took them. So I turned up every night, hoping against hope, but to no avail.
And as is the case in Thailand, boys come and go on a regular basis. New guys turned up every night, but I didn't find any of them attractive enough to warrant forking out 200 euros.
I'm not really sure who Escape is catering for. Most of the customers did not off any of the guys, and I never saw anyone having off to the private room. Perhaps they just make their money from champagne sales to the regulars.
If you stick to beer and don't take a guy off, Escape can be a cheap night out. Early on, guy after guy came and sat with me and ordered expensive drinks and my bill went through the roof. But after I'd been through every guy in the bar, and they knew I wasn't going to off them, I ended up sitting by myself and only spending around $35.
After a couple of nights the shows became boring and I found talking to other customers far more interesting. I'm keeping in touch with Joe, the hot black guy from London. I told him next time he goes to Japan I'd fly up there and give him a no holes barred tour of Tokyo. The cost? Mmmm..let me see. A night in bed with him would be sufficient!

Pavel was just one of the guys working at Escape. Many of the guys freelance and come and go as they please - or so it seems.
Since visiting Escape I've recognised a number of the guys in porn movies - Czechmate and Czechhunter come to mind, but I've never seen any of them in Belami.

Prague is not what is used to be, according to my older British friend, who lives there. It is a long time since I visited Bratislava but the town is not large. Where do they go. Not much night life in those days, perhaps it has improved
