The King's Birthday

[Andaman!]

I will be in Bangkok for 24 hours on 5th December. I was looking forward to a couple of massages and a visit to Soi Twilight in the evening. I now see that His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej will be 88 on 5th December.

I understand many businessses are closed on the King's Birthday and alcohol sales are banned.

Can anyone advsise whether the massage places are open and whether Soi Twilight functions? If not, I guess I will have to resort to Planet Romeo etc.

Expect soi Twilight to be locked up tight, as for massage places maybe hit and miss?
