April 18-19 - same as every year
Although you can expect the water throwing to start on the 12th... expecially in areas like Jomtien (couuntry road/bamboo), Soi Boakow (24/7) and Soi 6/7

I am only back from Thailand- and can't wait to arrive back on April 12th for the water mayhem!

Short of that being a good idea from a national 'we're all one Country" type idea I can't imagine that Pattaya businesses would gain anything from that as by having the two dates they then get to benefit from the influx of tourists ( and locals) who all come to Pattaya for a second crack at Songkran from Bangkok and other cities thus filling the hotels and bars all over again for another weekend.
