Every week, the team here at NickyтАЩs spends some hours adding the cultural events. We have recently been talking to several readers who have told us that they never look at these events and that they only look for the gay items. These Cultural events include our weekly roundup of events in Chiang Mai from our friend there and our twice monthly Bangkok events from Jack Gittings. They are reported in the тАЬForthcoming eventsтАЭ on the website, on the specific pages for the places and also in our newsletter, as well as forming part of the 'today's events' here.

So the question has been running round our minds, are we wasting our time putting up the cultural posts?

i think its too many cultural events in the newsletter and only a few gay events mentioned. In Pattaya its always about EROS bar and not so much news about the other bars in Sunee or BT .
Tonight there was a party with an outdoor show in Sunee and free food for everyone buying a drink , I just stumbled upon it , would be nice to know about those kind of events in your newsletter.

As for news from the bars, I publish what I know about - any bar, any party, anywhere in Thailand not just Sunee or BT - if I know about it I publish it. If I don't hear about a party, I can't publish it. I'm often pleading for people to let me know. I'm not clairvoyant!!! Eros features so much as they sponsor the newsletter AND tell me about every party they have (which is a lot). So on both counts they get mentioned.
