Holding Room threads.

Where did the other threads in the Holding room go? And why?

What is the point of members making posts on a specific forum only to have those posts disappear elsewhere. If they include some posts already split/moved from the main forum because they were considered "out of control", why move them yet again?

I just don't get this moving something for the sake of it without reason. The Holding room makes no sense whatsoever. "Holding" threads/posts only to move them elsewhere? The purpose is?

Exactly what difficulties are created for the Board by simply leaving them where they are/were? and if there is no problem created with leaving them why go to the trouble of moving them. It makes them very difficult to find if a member wishes to add a post to a specific thread.

Some of us simply don't have the time to respond to threads and posts as quickly as we would like due to time restraints of normal life and more so from mid-December onwards with Christmas, New Year celebrations, business interests at 'year end' where the year's activity has to be assessed and a new set of plans made for the new year, as well as (in my case) planning a trip to Thailand near that time.
