    Are all nicknames, as I'm sure you know, based sometimes on their behavior or appearance as a child, or position in the family - e.g., NUENG is Number 1, MOO (Pork) was fat as a kid, DAENG is thought to have Red(dish) skin, LEK is small, TEE is Chinese, and MAM looks like a farang.

    Limericks from Lear

    There was a Thai lady named Phat,
    who had triplets:
    Cat, Nat and Tat.
    The trouble with that;
    there wasn't a tit left for Tat.

    But I knew a num named Tit. I hope Tit and Tat found each other.

    If you expected Proust...about as intellectual as I care to get...well, one would think you'd have learned by now: this is certainly not the place.

    Help for the handicapped. :walk:
    On the chest of a num named Ale,
    is tattooed the price of his tail--
    And on his behind,
    for the sake of the blind;
    is the same information
    in braile.

    And he's building a ramp to his room: for those on zimmer-frames.
    (There will be a toll booth....To finance the chair lift.)

    There once was a Thai named Dent,
    with a dong so long that it bent;
    To make less trouble,
    he put it in double--
    And instead of coming...
    he went!

    The origin of the phrase: "As good men go...he went."
