    TODAY'S EVENTS January 24, 2013

Blithe Spirit 7:00 pm Gate Theater, Chiang Mai present Noel Coward's classic comedy "Blithe Spirit" on 24th, 25th & 26th January at 7.00 pm and 27th January at 2.00 pm, at the Studio Theater, 7th Floor, Kad Suan Kaew. Successful author Charles Condomine holds a seance to obtain material for a book he is writing. At the seance however, the ghost of his dead wife Elvira appears, though only Charles (and the audience) can see or hear her, with resultant comic consequences. A disbelieving second wife, an incompetent medium, a scheming ghost and a blundering maid all play their part in this sparkling comedy, which has been gently adapted to bring it up to date and to reflect the play's multinational cast. Tickets at a suggested donation of B250 can be obtained from the Information Desk at Kad Suan Kaew or by e-mailinggatetheater@gmail.com
