Broadway Under The Stars - September 21, 2013

The Pattaya Players are proud to present their premiere all-singing, show-stopping event, "Broadway Under The Stars," on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 7:00 pm. A multitude of local performers will present an elegant, cabaret-style program of musical theater standards and contemporary favorites straight from the Great White Way! This performance is the very first of its kind for the Pattaya Players and will serve as their annual fundraising event for next year. Tickets are 1,600 Baht inclusive of the show, a Kir Royal welcome drink, an exquisite gourmet buffet dinner and a limited-edition exclusive goody bag! In addition, there will be a rather extensive Lucky Draw Raffle featuring a wide range of exclusive items, services and gift vouchers donated from various area businesses. This swanky affair will take place poolside, under the stars at the beautiful Baan Souy Resort in Jomtien.

Managing programming for the outdoor concert is Director and Broadway enthusiast Christopher T. Parsons, who is the Drama Coordinator at St. Andrews International School, Green Valley and also happens to be the Founder and President of the Pattaya Players Community Troupe. Ably assisting Mr. Parsons are Musical Director, John Khan and Assistant Production Director, Bob Pross.

Mr. Parsons aims to create an elegant and intimate performance environment that "fosters an eclectic mix of Broadway oldies and contemporary favorites set beneath the starry, moonlit sky." The evening's entertainment will feature delightful and romantic golden age selections from composers including (but not limited to) Stephen Sondheim, Frederic Loewe and Andrew Lloyd Webber. There will also be several ensemble numbers as well as duets featured throughout the showcase.

Tickets are available now and can be purchased with a credit card from their online box office at...
