City of Angkor 1296 AD produced by Monash University

    https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=22 ... =3&theater

I was discussing my trip to Seam Reap with some friends studying at Monash University. They said students at the uni had produced a simulation of what life was like over 800 years ago, in Angkor Wat.

Only 2.5 minutes long, but it is excellent

This embedded clip was supposed to work?

Saw this great 2 part documentary on the Smithsonian Channel about Angkor the other day.
    http://www.smithsonianchannel.com/site/ ... es=1000038

It discusses the two great kings, how the temples and palaces were constructed, and includes computer animation of what life was like there and what the city looked like.

That video's really cool... Walking around those amazing ruins really gets you wondering what the scene looked like back when that city was thriving.
