Now I had to laugh at this - not because of the subject matter but at the protestations of the Dutch artist who produced the piece of art.
Basically a stylised statue depicting the Pope as a nazi paedophile has gone on display in Inverness.
On learning that it had shocked and upset some visitors, the elderly Dutch artist Mr Jeff Van Weereld sought to assure everybody that "no offence was intended"
His attempt to defuse the row hit the rocks somewhat when he seventy-year-old Mr van Weereld went on to say his 11ft 6in image of the pontiff showed him тАЬin a state of sexual arousalтАЭ with his hand тАЬfirmly on the shoulder of two little boysтАЭ
