what was that stuff and what is it called
ive just read a thread about food and thais eating grubs etc etc ..
when i was in saphan kwai earlier this year i saw a woman working on a food stall ?? she was talking to a policeman .. there was a lot of steam of some sort coming from her stall and the steam was full of flies.. it looked like a scene from a field full of cows. i passed by as fast as i could and certainly didnt bother to stop and ask what it was ..
anyone know what was going on ??

Re: what was that stuff and what is it called
that it was in buffalobridge seems to have nothing to do with it. From this info there is no clear answer-most likely it was also strange or annoying to her, and that MAY be why she talked about it to police.
But maybe she just emptied a pot of boiling water after cleaning without seeing on some left cadaver (dead bird? rat?) being enjoyed by the flies?
