    WARNING Northern Thailand

    Northern Thailand

    Ministry of Fish and Wildlife

    WARNING

Due to the rising frequency of human-tiger encounters, the Ministry of Fish and Wildlife, Northern Branch,

is advising hikers, hunters, fisherman and any motor-cyclists that use the out-of-doors in a

recreational or work-related function to take extra precautions while in the bush.

We advise outdoorsmen to wear little noisy bells on clothing so as to give advanced warning to any tigers

that might be close by so you don't take them by surprise.

We also advise anyone using the out-of-doors to carry "Pepper Spray" with him or her in case of an encounter

with a tiger.Outdoorsmen should also be on the watch for fresh tiger activity and be able to tell the difference

between tiger cub shit and big tiger shit. Tiger cub shit is smaller and contains lots of berries and rabbit fur.

Big tiger shit has bells in it, and smells like pepper.

    Enjoy your stay in

    Thailand

    You're a crack up, Giggsy... :happy7:

Did you know there are actually still wild tigers living in Thailand? Very rarely seen but apparently they're out there.

You should visit Khao Yai national park, lots of wild life activity there when I visited in 1996. I guaranteed you will see a wild tiger there.

You guarantee I'll see a tiger in the wild there? Forgive my skepticism but are sightings that common there?

I spent a few days kayaking in a similar national park and saw just about everything except for wild tigers and wild elephants. But I think seeing a tiger out in the wild would be pretty unnerving!

I'd love to know how you can guarantee that as well?
