Any suggestion nice hotel in hua hin?

pls recomend me hotel to stay in hua hin.... near night entertainment or .. near beach... pm me..

The Sofitel is fabulous if you can afford it, and right opposite the only gay nightlife (if you can call it that) in Hua Hin.

I've stayed with my boyfriend twice at the City Beach Hotel. It's the same road as the Sofitel so only a few minutes from the beach and a good position for the Night Market and the few gay bars etc. It's cheap and very ordinary but OK as a base if you're going to be out most of the time. The swimming pool is small and rather poor but that didn't worry me as I much prefer the beach and that's so close.

I've also stayed at the Wora Bura which is superb but too far from the town and beyond my budget if I was paying the full rate (a friend in the travel business got me a cheap deal). He also got me a cheap rate at the Hilton but it was too big for my liking and I didn't really enjoy staying there but it had everything you'd expect in a Hilton.

Maleyp, I was going to go down to Hua Hin also if this trouble in BKK kept up. I am leaving tomorrow from New Zealand but it seems the BTS is up and running on the old schedule again (6am - midnight) so I will be in BKK. BUT here is where I was going to stay:

The rooms are huge at 40sq mtr with breakfast and there is a small pool on the roof. I know Hua Hin quite well and this is a very good location. A shame Smiles isn't in residence as it is just a block from his abode.

Anyhow have a look but for me this was great value in Hua Hin.

Not enough information. Price range?, pool?, breakfast?, guesthouse? Thai-style? western-style?
Almost every hotel in Hua Hin is 'near' the beach.
