To ignore, or not to ignore, that is the question:

Back to being more careful not to open 'ignored' posters So I'll miss the poster trying to get the final word. He's welcome.
Re: Mass vaccination programme to begin 1 May
Great unrestricted hatred in literature.
Cap'n Ahab and Moby-Dick
Heathcliff and Edgar Linton
Captain Hook and Peter Pan
Steviewonders and Dodger

You can't hate someone who provides such amusement. Both Dodgems AND goji making the same mistake. Both based on a post of mine they are proud they haven't read. Fabulous.

Dodger produces some of the best literature on the forum. Exactly the kind of material that keeps people interested in the forums.
Whilst "Six Handles" is deservedly on many people's ignore list. The optimum solution for people who only ever detract from the dialogue should be termination of membership, but the next best thing is the ignore function.

This thread is turning into Macbeth Act 1, Scene 1.
Re: Mass vaccination programme to begin 1 May
Bearing in mind ol stevie's posting history and persona the choice of quotes from Macbeth was too great. Impossible to choose one.

Since Ignoring now has it's own thread......
The Ignore function is very useful.
However, to improve it further, it would be even better if there were a way of setting it up so we don't even see the "This message is hidden because StevieWonders is on your ignore list" and the resulting string of ignored posts between ignored handles, mostly from the same stable.
Re: To ignore, or not to ignore, that is the question:
Could you not have called this thread “The book burners” Mr Jellybaby?
