Help please..... Prep in Bangkok
Hi all
Need some help... I'll be in Bangkok next week and need to get some Prep.
Does anyone know where I can get it...? I imagine I'll need a script from a GP.
I'll be staying in Silom area so ideally if there is a gay-friendly clinic in the area that would be great.
Appreciate any info..
Thanks guys.
Re: Help please..... Prep in Bangkok
Try Pulse Clinic in Silom. It is near Saladaeng Station, opposite Silom Complex.

Pripta in Chamchuri Square and Thai Red Cross near Lumpini park. Both considerably cheaper than Pulse.
Re: Help please..... Prep in Bangkok
OP, You are not likely to need a prescription for (almost) any pharmaceutical in Thailand. No, you do not need to waste money on a GP in order to get a script for PReP or Doxy in Thailand. Just go to nearly any (reputable) pharmacy and ask for it. Now, do be aware of fakes and extortionist pricing. Have an idea of what the drug should cost (comparing it to the price in your home country?) and go from there. For example the price for (generic) Viagra and (generic) Cialis can vary widely, so I assume its the same with preventatives as well. Hope this helps. TiT

I’m in FL at the moment… wow so cheap! Now I just need to see how to get a prescription. I don’t have a Gen Practitioner. Maybe urgent care doctors can give. Will give it a go! Thanks
Re: Help please..... Prep in Bangkok
don't know about FL, but in PA the local free aids clinic has a doctor once a week that will prescribe. my "PCP" (primary care physician) just writes me scripts for Cialis (also cheap) and PrEP without issue.
for costplusdrugs, PCP must fax in a form that you download for them (or mail in paper prescription for PA) they are not in our electronic system.
