I haven't been to Russia for a few years. The ₽100 and ₽500 notes I have from my last trip are the same size and have no braille. According to Wikipedia whilst ₽5 is smaller (but virtually obsolete) ₽10, ₽50, ₽100 and ₽500 are all the same size and ₽1000 and ₽5000 are indeed bigger, but the same as each other. Not much accessibility there....
No mention of Braille on Wikipedia. Is that a recent addition? Are they made from polymer now? I hope my notes are still valid, I have ₽13,800.

"100-ruble bill controversy
On 8 July 2014 State Duma deputy and Vice-Chairman of the Duma Regional Political Committee Roman Khudyakov alleged that the image of Apollo driving Quadriga on the portico of the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow on the 100-ruble banknote constitutes pornography that should only be available to persons over the age of 18. Since it is impractical to limit the access of minors to banknotes, he requested in his letter to the Governor of the Bank of Russia Elvira Nabiullina to immediately change the design of the banknote.[39]
Khudyakov, a member of parliament for the LDPR party stated, "You can clearly see that Apollo is naked, you can see his genitalia. I submitted a parliamentary request and forwarded it directly to the head of the central bank asking for the banknote to be brought into line with the law protecting children and to remove this Apollo."[40][41] Khudyakov's efforts did not lead to any changes being made to the design. "

Yeah. Every mp wants to be on news-pages. So they make scandals, dumb initiatives, fake news and so on - they want to be remembered and elected. We call them here "crazy printer" because of amount of useless laws they propose.

They have braille since 1993, look at front side near nominal number.

The Wikipedia extract, which goji quoted above, regarding the image of Apollo driving quadriga on the portico of the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow on the 100 Ruble banknote constituting pornography intrigued me enough to check it out for myself.
Below are two photos, the first is of the Bolshoi Theatre portico with what appears to be a fig leaf over the “intimate parts” of Apollo and the second photo is of the 100 Ruble banknote showing Apollo semi-naked. I wonder why they did not add a fig leaf to the image on the banknote. But as the complaint by the nationalist party lawmaker Roman Khudyakov was not upheld, then the image must have been considered acceptable and therefore not pornographic.

Ah, those markings! You are correct. They are not strictly Braille, but more like intaglio printed symbols. On some of the notes I have they are as smooth as Jellybean's bottom and I really could not detect them by touch. But the ones with added diamond pattern could be used as identifier's by visually impaired people with increased sense of touch, I guess.
Equipped with this new knowledge I looked again at the THB notes I have a found that StevieWonders was correct

It turns out that not only are Thai banknotes brightly coloured and all of different sizes but they also have intaglio printed tactile symbols, making them one of the most accessible banknotes in the world. cdnmatt should be very happy!
