So typical - and so pathetically childish!
Frequent- The First Amendment is totally unrelated to the subject at hand. Yes, you can say what you like but why would you do so in such an unpleasant manner that cannot in any way be seen as satire ? That is the question.
I heard a story recently which might help to explain your posts. It's about a farang who delighted in never-ending attempts to create discord.
He came to Thailand to work many years ago and happened to meet a very highly placed government official who promptly asked if the young farang would like to be his bum-boy. The farang envisioned trips to the high end malls, participation in the hi-so life of Thailand, so of course he accepted immediately…..only to be replaced some time later by a younger, more attractive object of the official’s affections. In parting, perhaps the farang received a golden handshake , or a condo, or a life time teaching appointment at a prestigious Thai university. However, he could never relinquish the conviction that he was meant to be hi-so and his sense of self-worth remained at a very inflated level. To remind the world that he was a unique personage, he turned to gay websites to exhibit his self-acclaimed superiority. Truly a sad waste of one’s talents.

Well Bob I don't know if you're referring to Frequent but to me his post don't display that characteristic. Rather they demonstrate an ageing quite bitter man whose dream of a new life in Bangkok went shitsouth some time ago and has little going for him except more of the same.
Yes, according to what I heard, "several decades ago" would be more accurate. By now, his original "sponsor" is a nonagenarian.
That is indeed "the question". As Hamlet reflected on that to be or not to be issue, frequent decided that not being is infinitely preferable to having a life (haha - nice to throw that one back at him!) When you are so bitter and twisted you simply dry up and cease to exist. Tempting to be sad - but I am not. :yahoo_mini:
Sorry Bob, my eyes glazed over after your first paragraph. I thought you must be channeling one of fountainhall's more boring posts (of which there are so many). As an evidently well-read man yourself, you'll be familiar with Elizabeth Bennett's comment in Jane Austen's Pride & Prejudice: “Follies and nonsense, whims and inconsistencies do divert me, I own, and I laugh at them whenever I can.”
If you want to engage with someone who believes his own posts, his own thoughts, his own actions or his own motives are worth discussing, try a447. Failing that, you can try those who fancy themselves as the Forum prefects - fountainhall himself and arsenal - but you'd have to be really desperate
I'm a prefect! Can I have a badge?
Frequent - It appears, from many reactions to your posts, that we here at SGT are simply not equipped to appreciate your "Follies and nonsense, whims and inconsistencies". I am sure you would receive a warmer reception on some other board where your talents could more readily be perceived for what they are. Do try it.
