Sick fucks.
Why is eating turtle any more repulsive than eating lobster in Maine or crab in Maryland or shrimp in the Gulf? Many animals (crustaceans) have exoskeletons. Here in Hawaii when I was a kid my mother made a great turtle soup which was delicious.
It is true that here the turtle as food disappeared some years ago as the Hawaiian turtle dangerously diminished in numbers. Today here you can go jail for even TOUCHING a turtle.

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson was moved into Intensive Care this evening at about 7 pm UK time. He was already in hospital with the Covid19 virus but his condition had deteriorated during the afternoon.
Quite a turn of events.

Matter-of-factly. As a statement, not a judgement.

And once again, to lighten the mood, I repost images first posted on facebook:
Friends of Dorothy will be surprised to see that she has acquired some queer friends, but will be even more surprised, nay disappointed, to note she broke the rules and [Drum roll] went outside!

When we all know, she should never have left Kansas and stayed at home just like the rest of us! :)

True, that eating turtle is no more repulsive or tasty than crustaceans however (although more endangered) , for the record a turtle is a reptile, not a crustacean.:devilsh:

Hi,
I am very pleased to tell you that our efforts at supporting the recently unemployed of our local area in Jomtien have been going very well indeed.
We have supplied free meals to the unemployed Thai locals, of which there are many, on two days now.
Last Wednesday we gave away 150 free meals with water, and today after some very serious funding supplied by donors around the world, including Rotary Clubs and Masons and many many individuals, too many to name, most who do not want to be named, we gave away 192 meals in the hours between 4.30 and 5.30pm.
Because the donations to this have been so kind and rewarding we are now able to give away free meals on two days a week instead of one.
so our days of operation will be Wednesdays and Saturdays.
I am so happy that we are able to do this, it is our culture to ‘make merit’ and ‘tamboon’ and we are so happy to do this out of our heart for the poor people who do not have a job now, and cannot eat. I think there are many like that now, here in Thailand;
Our work pattern is mainly to work a day, get paid, and eat.
If we cannot work we cannot eat.
It does not take much thought to realise that some civil disturbance may arise from such a system if work Is not available.
So, I think it is very important that we take care of our neighbours and friends, and just passers by.
Give them hope, and love, and food and drink.
With hard work our country will survive and we will see you again soon
\the sooner the better!!
The many hundred of thousands of Asian students stranded in Australia left with no income for food, let alone rent shocks me.
The poor that try and make a small living in Thailand distresses me equally as much.
This small service from Yupins and many supporters, hopefully may stimulate others.
