Re: Coronavirus - Thailand
A cry for help.
I first met Wirat many years ago when he was running the Solid Bar in Soi 6, after that at a small watering hole in Soi Twilight, followed by the now defunct agogo bar in Patpong 1 that lasted for less than six months. I met him again as mamasan at Freshboys Patpong 2 towards the end of last year. On the first of January I came across him on Soi 6 as he was waiting to report for work at Tawan bar. Physically he has withered , his oversized jacket belied his scrawny frame, now that he's probably in his 6th decade of life.
I'm quite sure that some readers of this forum might recognize him.
I wish him luck.
Re: Coronavirus - Thailand
A gracious thought from the heart Dinagam.
Re: Coronavirus - Thailand
Yes, I remember him well, starting from his days at Solid.
He always seemed to have the weight of the world on his shoulders.
A nice guy. I also wish him well.
Re: Coronavirus - Thailand
I remember him from Solid and the small bar he had towards the end of Soi Twilight...He was always pleasant and frail.
Re: Coronavirus - Thailand
I was a very occasional visitor to Solid and so was amazed when years after it closed, he recognised me one evening as I strolled along Soi Twilight. He was clearly depressed by events and it is sad to know that worse was to follow.
Good luck to him.

SO surely by Trumps very own logic should that now really not just be called the American Flu - as it did as you say come from the the US, .....or to quote the ( not so ) great man himself "American, it came from Am Er Ic A". Funny how in his logic Covid is the Chinese Virus but yet the Spanish Flu ( from America) is STILL the Spanish flu ! Strange that eh.
Still perhaps we should be grateful as if he did rename it the American Flu then it would of course have been MUCH more deadly as it would have had to have been the BEST Flu ever and like nothing you've ever seen before......actually that sounds about right, yep, he should definitely rename it PDQ ! :)
Re: Coronavirus - Thailand
no proof that spanish flu came from america...data from those times is not complete, was first identified in kansas amongst soldiers returning from war zone hand. China virus did originate in wuhan...if u deny that then u r a holocaust denier. Funny that none complained when the mexican swine fever was named...is that because no one cares a fuck about offending mexicans...

Holocaust is simply what is happening around the world today from the activities of the military-industrial complex and the deep state in the USA. Look around and you see their bloodied fingerprints every where from Iraq to Venezuela etc.
By the way didn't the American army athletes take part in a military sport event in Wuhan last year? And perchance leaving behind a corona as a souvenir.

But more importantly why are you trolling post after post here with that phrase desperately trying to get someone to bite for a reaction.....it's a bit crass and tasteless don't you think.

You're right, there was no actual tracking back then, hence why it's estimated somewhere between 50 - 100 million died during the Spanish Flu.
Nonetheless, it's widely believed that the Spanish Flu started in a military barracks in Kansas. Same as whether you like it or not, remember H1N1? That started in North America. The majority of avian based airborne viruses start in North America, go do your research, and you'll see it's right.
That's why I get pissed when I see people online blaming China for this. China had nothing to do with it -- there's thousands of viruses around us all the time, and once in a while they will jump to humans. That's what happened here, it's just a thing of nature, and has nothing to do with China, so leave racism out of the conversation.
However, just found this last night, and now China has more to answer for:

Apparently, according to that Australia news report, once China realized this was going to be a global pandemic back in Decemeber, they went out and contracted all Chinese citizens who own foreign businesses, and asked them to tell their staff to go out to the lcoals stores / malls and buy all the medical equipment available such as masks, gowns, hand sanitizer, etc. Then bring the items back to their office where they were repackaged / re-labeled, and mailed off to China. That's one of the reasons Australia doesn't have medical supplies at the moment, I guess.
