For those who think the old Yellow/Red Shirt rivalry has gone away with the coup, much of the commentary outside Thailand centres on the Army being Yellow Shirt centric and the Police (Thaksin's old power base) being Red Shirt centric. In addition the recent arrests of senior police have all been focused on one faction within the police and is unlikely to be the precursor of a crackdown on police corruptionQuote:
