I won't argue with the fact that the description you have been given of me is false -- as you clearly have no idea who I am, nor does any of your so-called "contacts".Quote:

1 You think that the only people who know anything of Thailand are those who share your jaundiced opinions and we all know what colour jaundice favours.
2 Your knowledge of journalism must have been gained by association with the conga line of suck holes who make up the editorship of the Thai media.
3 When you have the courage to meet me you will see from my passport that I arrived in Thailand at the beginning of April 2010 so my 30 day visa hasn't even run out yet.
4 Your alter ego instaly is confusing journalism with grammar.
Wait...you're here on a 30-day visa-exempt tourist stay -- but working as a journalist? You do know that's illegal, don't you?
No Andrew I am not the one who is confused. I would have thought that as a courtesy to your readers journalism and good grammar should go hand-in-hand, but obviously you do not consider that to be of any importance.Quote:

Little wonder that you decline to name the news paper / agency/ bureau you are working for if you are working in Thailand illegally. It does make your 'holier than thou' attitude look rather condescending. It also does little for your credibilty if your employer is willing to employ illegal workers in the kingdom as it would appear to be an obviously down market 'rag' that is unable to pay for bona-fide journalists.
LOL... Definitely homintern!Quote:

What is it about people over 40 that they don't realise that Working Life 2.0 is here? You don't have to be an employer or an employee. There's a whole range of options in between, just as there are options about working "from home", sharing office facilities with people who aren't co-workers and media other than the world of print. Working regulations and visa regulations are for those who stick with nationalism as a concept which is so last millenium. Transnationalism is the future. I'm in Sydney, Bangkok, London NOT Australia, Thailand, Britain. By the way instaly I've been careful not to end any sentences with a preposition and I'm almost certain I haven't split any infinitives. Here's hoping you get a life soon. And yes Beachlover well spotted that I filched a phrase from Mark Latham but I don't think that makes me homintern. I suggest to the Mods that they start a new Forum "Which poster is homintern this week?" as it seems to be the most popular topic among the small minds who regularly write here.
