If I had come on as some party-line Democrat who thought Barack Obama was going to SAVE America, I wouldn't have found a significant problem. Unfortunately for you, kenc, I have significant experience with the "gay liberal" community, and exactly what their opinion is of independent opinions. Your posting is, for me, just one more example of the incredible lengths people will go to to try to score a political point. Shish-kebabs? You even went to the trouble of looking up the freeping shish-kebabs? Well, I guess the next time you spend 3-4 hours cooking food for some group, and nobody bothers to say "thank you," but they eat up all the food and give you three complaints -- well, you can post on what a jolly time it all was.
At least in Chiang Mai, they have the manners to say "Thank you." Pacific Friends has transcended all that.
By the way, if you want to find "Pacific Friends" in Chiang Mai, check out "House of Male." It's right behind my house, and I never ever go there, because the crowd is the same awful crowd.
