So exactly what are the alcohol rules in Pattaya? Can I BYOB?
I assume alcohol is available at the stores, correct? I realize bars aren't open and, restaurants generally aren't serving drinks, right?
So, is it illegal to take a bottle with you for, say, the beach?
Just curious.

I imagine a bottle of suntan lotion would be OK.

Make sure your sunscreen is not on the banned list in Thailand
The four chemicals are Oxybenzone (Benzophenone-3, BP-3), Octinoxate (Ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate), 4-Methylbenzylid Camphor (4MBC) and Butylparaben.

I prefer to be arrested for something better than my suntan cream, lol.

My guess is it is probably perfectly legal to take a bottle of liquor to the beach, but it is probably illegal to drink from it . . .
