View Full Version : Lavender Lanna Hotel Job Fair

August 16th, 2009, 08:50
Lavender Lanna Hotel in Chiang Mai will be holding a Job Fair next week on Friday and Saturday, Aug 21 and 22. We are hiring for every department for our hotel and for our many outlets. So, if you have Thai friends who need a good job, then have them visit, email, or call us next week. For those staff who don't already live in Chiang Mai, we provide FREE housing in our nice and very big staff house dorms plus two free meals per day.

Our hotel jobs include front desk staff, bell staff, housekeeping, drivers, wait staff, cooks, cashiers, porters, butlers, food and beverage supervisors, bartenders, pool attendants, massage staff, salon staff, security, maintenance, gift shop clerks, coffee baristas, and a financial controller. We have 110 rooms plus a number of outlets including a 24-hour lobby restaurant, a salon and massage (gay massage), a lobby gift shop, a coffee cart, a pool and pool bar, a tour desk staffed by a gay tour company, and a rooftop restaurant. We currently have 45 staff during our renovation period, and we need to grow that number to about 200.

We are also hiring for our large nightclub which will open in early October. We will be hiring a manager, waiters, door staff, cabaret performers (both ladyboys and male dancers), bartenders, cashiers, gift shop clerks, and of course, go-go dancers.

The wages we offer are very competitive, and we will even pay a salary to our massage staff and go-go staff (in addition to free dorm housing and free meals). Most staff also earn tips, commissions and bonuses.

Being a gay hotel, we greatly prefer cute guys with a good command of English to fill most of our staff needs. However, we will consider other highly qualified candidates outside these qualifications who have experience and who speak good English.

For more information, or if you have Thai friends who want to submit a resume, please email to jobs AT lavenderlannahotel DOT com. We do not provide transportation assitance, but we will pre-hire based on phone interviews and photos or webcam (the photos can be on a website such as Hi-5).

Also, most of our marketing for the job fair and for recruitment is direct marketing to Thais. However, we figure many of the readers of these forums have lots of Thai friends already in the industry and may know some who are seeking a new or different job in Chaing Mai.
