The biggest problem is finding an experienced spanker who knows what to do. A proper spanking is done on the bare buttocks, not slapping the back like they have seen in the S&M shows in Soi Twilight. As enlightening as your post is, it sounds like newc wants to be the "spanker" and the Thai boy be the "spankee," whereas you are addressing the opposite role-taking? (Are the terms "top" and "bottom" applicable to spanking, or perhaps, just "active" and "passive"?)
