View Full Version : Reliable Drug Store in Pattya?

June 9th, 2009, 05:40
Hi gentlemen,

With enough Asiamiles and urge for a touch of silk, finally I will have another chance to visit LOS in late June!

I wonder if you guys know of any reliable drug stores in Pattaya to dispense generic cialis and viagra? What is the reasonable range I should be expecting to pay? Hopefully a slightly more established one because I may want to check prices/supply for generic ACCUTANE (for acne) for my friend as well.

Thank you guys, and can't wait for that trip. :flower:

Accutane should not be taken outside the regular supervision of a GP and without monthly blood tests for kidney issues

Its main side effect besides kidney and renal failure are birth defects, depression and suicide...
I know at least 2 Ro-accuatane users who killed themselves

Do you really hate your friend that much?

" ... ACCUTANE ... "
Sounds like a gasoline additive. And according to Colmx, it could well be. :blackeye:

I should also point out that the 2 people who committed suicide as a result of being on Ro-accutane were late teenagers at the time....who had completed 2nd level school and were starting into 3rd level... so hardly fitting the usual suicide profile...

I was put on it too when i was around 16.... Only side effect i had was my lost hair!

Perhaps I caught this off someone as my hair has fallen out also, lol.

I remember when my niece was on Roaccutane┬о she got very very dry lips and had to use lip balm day and night to combat such. Also eye drops. Need to ensure plenty of water drunk also.

I couldn't tell you if she was depressed or not as she was moody to start with at 14. I could have choked her and saved myself the 2 years of dermatologist fees.

She has turned out to be an absolute bitch with beautiful skin. I'm just soooo happy.

Cheers

Ro-accutane,as far as I am aware, is only available at D Pharmacy on Sukhumvit Road near Central Park 2. I echo the comments above about its use.

Accutane is one powerful drug. As Colmx has stated, one of the side effects is hair loss. My straight hair suddenly became curly and then was gone.So was the acne. So prepare your friend for this possiblity. And blood test are important for the kidneys and liver.

Did your hair grow back? Did the acne return?

Getting on to the topic of the viagra and cialis, go for generics, namely the apcalis if you plan on drinking.

The gels are preferred by some over the pills, as they are faster acting. But they do not hold up well at all over a week, as they become very watery. Depending on pharmacies, for a packet of 4 tablets, you can get the generics like Apcalis for about 200baht. Some places might be cheaper, others more expensive. Luckily due to the sheer number of pharmacies, rather then just buying at your first stop, walk around the street to 4 or 5 places, and go for the one that has the best prices.

The gels, are about 50baht a piece from what I remember paying for them. Again, generics as well. Some places will not have the name brands, and some places might only have 1 brand of generic, be it viagra or cialis.

As for the acne medicine, your best bet is to check around at one of the skin repair clinics that sell all the creams and everything. They can usually help you out with anything to do with dermatology.

Could you name a few pharmacies that have this offer please -specifically Apcalis @ 200 bht?

A generic from a recognised Indian manufacturer such as Adjanta is possibly a safer bet than some cut price fake product claiming to be one of the recognised brands.

I'm not a doctor (I only play doctor at Jim Jimmy James), but I'd go for the real thing..cialis and not the Indian versions, and not viagra (which some people report causes them headaches). The pharmacy on second road almost-directly across from VC Hotel (Soi VC) a few doors away from Bangkok Bank should have anything you need. When I experimented with cialis the pharmacist suggested I chop them in half. Worked great. Also beware the fake stuff that people try to sell in the bars.

Thats a very true statement you just made about the stuff getting sold in bars and by the walking street vendors. Many of these things that they are selling are herbal concoctions, of god only knows what. And then of course the fake stuff they claim are real.

Take the time to walk around the pharmacies by your hotel or your hunting area, and you will find what you want. There are more pharmacies that sell the legit stuff, then there are that don't carry anything. Remember the odds are in your favor with this stuff as well.
