I recently heard that there was a lot of bitter rivalry between the Army and the Air Force about the concessions at the new airport.
If it was true one of them had the concession at Dom Muang and was pushed out by the other, when the new airport was built. I find it strange that the military can get involved in such large scale activities and can only guess at the corruption that goes on with these major money spinners.
The suggestion that the generals and their farang hangers on are making trillions, is probably no surprise.
