Anyone know of lunch buffets in Bangkok or Pattaya with a choice of western and Thai? Nothing too expensive or fancy, say around 250 Baht? Some place where the waiters don't try to chase you out after three hours. The buffets I've been to never seem to have enough food in them.

(wow, you're asking for a series of smart comments from this forum.) The only two buffets I know that is worth going to in Pattaya is on Sundays: at Benihana Japanese Steak House located at Royal Garden Shopping Center or at the Mantra located near the "curve" near Dusit on Beach Road. Great selection of fresh seafood, imported meats, salads and such. Both places are expensive 1500-1800 baht so I only go there on special occasions (yes, you can graze there for more than 3 hours). Any buffet in Pattaya that is 500 baht or less wouldn't be worth going to in my opinion. One of the worse Pattaya buffets I have ever gone to was Captain's Corner on the way to Jomtien. They advertise all the time --not worth the money, nothing special and costly for the crap you get. (maybe it was a bad night)

Hans, I think just a coincidence as there was no outrageous and needless swearing, so it couldn't be BBB.

Where they "don't chase you out after three hours"? How long, exactly, does it take you to stuff your gut?

Butterball Bruce, yea I get it but this is a slow room and not everyone is up to speed. Some in fact are quite out to lunch.
