Sterling

Sterling became stronger today and according to sources is going to continue to strengthen.

I've heard this before, but will it hold!

┬г rose against some currencies but fell against others today. Which comparative currencies were you referring to? If you are going to continue posting gossip from the post room, ie according to sources(the mailman) it would helpful to advise as rising against what? ┬г $ E etc.

Brad: it looks as if you referred to them already. However, it was the dollar and euro I was referring to, but more importantly the Thai Bht.

With any luck, Gordon Brown & the rest of them will be booted out in about 1 year from now, so that might give sterling a boost.
Long term, why not invest in China, Taiwan, Malaysia etc & diversify out of Sterling?
