my friend who is almost 80 swears by his chinese medical practictioner and asked me if similar are available in Pattaya
He plans to come mid year

He also asked if there was a Thai similar service

Every time I have needed medical treatment I have been to western qualified doctors
Is there a Thai equivalent of chinese medicine or are there thais qualified in Pattaya

Is there a thai medicine system????

Available at both PIC and BHP, both of which are reputable, as well as a number of other practitioners who may or may not be properly trained.

Go to St Louis Hospital Sathorn Tai, just near Surasak BTS. Full traditional Chinese Medicine Department. if your treatment doesn't work, the Western style departments are just next door. If nothing works bail up the nearest sweet faced nun who will direct you to the chapel, and/or the mortuary, both of which are very tastefully decorated!!

My friend who is a reader but not a poster, has asked me to thanks the repliers. His Chinese doctor has offered to write a medical history of treatments for him to take to both Bangkok and Pattaya
