When I was in Bangkok about a year ago, I had a massage at one of the massage parlors in a private
steam room.There was a marble table with thick towels on it that stayed somewhat cool even in the hot
room. They had a shower to periodically wet you and the towels down.

I don't remember which massage parlor it was. I will be back in Bangkok next month and would like to
check it out again.

If anyone know which massage parlor it was I would appreciate it.

Check out massage parlors with a Turkish sounding name. That sounds like a hammams.

Like in Hero and Leander. I will bet that is it. If you know you myths Hero was greek but he was from Turkey.

Marble tables are typical for use in salt scrub massage because you get hosed down. Can't have a mattress pad there.

I'm betting it was Hero in Nana.

My guess is Aqua Pan Club Link (http://www.aquaspaclub.com/). They have a sauna or did last time I was there but it's been quite some time. Hero had a sauna but it's now closed or broken or the area is being remodeled, depending who you ask.

Can't you even remember which area this massage place is? If you have this info, perhaps you can get more help. Now everyone here is just having a guessing game.

I checked out information on the places you guys mentioned, and I think it must have been Hero.
I read on another site that they offer a body massage in a private steam room. When I checked
a map that seemed to be near where I thought I was.
